I've been living in beautiful Victoria BC for close to 10, and I love sharing my favourite things about this place with people passing through.
I work in a heritage building that was a church and is now a theatre, and I love that too! Every day I feel blessed to live and work where I do.
I'm a pretty odd mix - I am absolutely outgoing and social, but I also love my alone time, and I appreciate when others need theirs!
I truly believe that every experience, good or bad, and every person you meet has some sort of impact on your life. This is how I try to look at the world, and one of the reasons I love traveling so much and meeting people with the same love of travel.

I have had some GREAT experiences with Couchsurfing! Sometimes I've only been able to provide a chill place to stay, but I've also spent some great late nights chatting, partying, laughing with my couchsurfers. The best times I've had have been with people I wish could have stayed even longer (and sometimes they have)!

Intereses

I've grown up loving music and dancing - I never need coaxing (or drinking) to dance: at the club, on the bus, while cleaning my house... I'm always on the verge of it! I also love a good festival or concert.
Being a true west coast gal I love being outside: at the beach, hiking, camping, patio-sitting...

Música, películas y libros

I couldn't live without music; I'll listen to pretty much anything - classic rock, 80s, underground hip hop, rap, country, pop, techno, hard rock... I love it all. I've seen a variety of acts live, from Lady Gaga to Trooper, Black Keys to Bruce Springsteen, Deadmau5 to Coldplay! Other than traveling, going to concerts is my favourite thing to do!
I tend to read books about people from different places (a pretty reductive description but there it is). I've also read a few autobiographies, which can be entertaining!
I'm not much for movies anymore, because I think they're mostly crap these days...

I have a knack for being up in the air during a lightning storm... during several plane rides and a ride in the Singapore Flier, for example. Super unnerving, but also very cool!

I would love to learn to cook different dishes from wherever you're from! I'd also love to hear some music from wherever you're from... if there's a dance involved, all the better!
I can offer my keen intellect (hehe) and knowledge of the English and French languages...
