ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in NL. Studied contemporary dance, but quit. I've lived and worked (in the hospitality industry) in Australia for one year. Then I finished an 'Interdisciplinary Arts' bachelor program in NL. Now that's done I'd like to find a living community or eco village to settle down in.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I avoid hotels with a passion. I would much rather experience a place through the perspective of a local. Have you really experienced a place if you've just checked all the main tourist attractions and didn't hang out with any local?

2021 update: I abandoned this website when it stopped being non-profit around 2012. September this year I met a girl who mentioned CS and I thought 'feck it, I'll have a look at what has become of it'.

- My couchsurfing experiences in Berlin 2011 were particularly splendid
- Making a short documentary / dance film
- Photoshoot in a dreary suburb of Budapest with a bunch of art degenerates and a lada
- Quitting my dance education to take a time-out for backpacking in Thailand 2015
- Being in Israel (summer '14) while there's a war going on. 'Amazing' doesn't quite describe it, but life changing it definitely was
- Israeli wedding in 2016
