A NOTE TO PEOPLE WHO SEND FRIEND REQUESTS WITHOUT KNOWING YOU: That is not how it works; you cannot send "friend requests" here like you do on Facebook. The implications in Couchsurfing are very different and we can only voucher cautiously for people WE DO KNOW FAIRLY WELL. It is not the number of friends that counts here, it is the depth of the few friendships that you list here. It is deceptive for me to accept a "friendship" from someone I do not know. If you want to drop a line, you can do so, but I will not befriend someone with whom I am not friends. Thanks.

Let us be true... in the end, it is all that remains. Truth. The rest, like particles of dust, they sift through the strainer, and nothing remains but what is solid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2015: I have recently been more involved with couch surfing. I have met some wonderful, wonderful people with whom I wish to have had more time; time to share views, reflections, aspirations, laughter and hope. And, renewed and strengthened from the multiplying effect of SHARING, go on my journey, stronger, happier and more confidently. This is why I love couch surfing, because it is so enriching; because it gathers the best of people (and yes, there are some to be careful and cautious with also; we must exercise care always).

I attended one wonderful event in Paris, --Damian's International Breakfast and met many people from different countries. They have them monthly; I would love to attend again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

WONDERFUL GUESTS, WONDERFUL HOSTS... Grateful, hopeful and enthusiastic about the possibilities, --especially in my personal situation of not having a family with real functionality, I truly am looking for my family... Truly.

Interests

I don't have free time often. I am a life-long student of life; --currently training to be a life-coach and writing a book. I also am learning French, and other needs of primary importance that I address in an ongoing way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of music, (but not country music). Rock, pop, (talented), classical, and an emerging genre: soundtrack music. This is the canvas of the classical composers of our time, isn't it?? Movies did not exist in Beethoven's day, but now they are center stage in our media world and wonderful mediums for us to enjoy the best music compositions of our day. I admire MANY of such composers... geniuses!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left the sect in which I was born to devastating social and emotional cost. The shunning will go on the rest of my life. This is why I have no family, and no roots in a particular geographic spot. I will be lead by my truth, and by love. Or so I do hope and trust.
