About Me

In Hebrew my name, Yam, means "sea", I come from an aquatic family so a lot of my life revolves around water and sailing. but since I needed to rebel against my dad, like every child should, I became a hiking expert, traveled some interesting countries, the last one was Kirghistan and now I'm trying to know as good as I can here in Israel.
But all of that happens mostly on holidays. The rest of the time I like cooking with my flatmates, watching old movies watching trashy movies . I like to explore the city, and I got to know some interesting spots, in some it feels like your out of the city and in a jungle (at least if you blink really fast) and others are just amazing, isolated lookouts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm leaving in Tel-Aviv and life is good here. A good day should start by strolling the beach and filing the send between my tows. At least a good day should start like that, cuz having something so close makes it obvious, and obvious is usually looked over. I guess this is the story with most of Tel-Aviv, living makes it easy to forget it's there. But when ever friends from abroad (or just from out of town) come to visit it's like the city is alive again.

And to be honest I'm going to a journey myself in some time, so I would like to host people so that other couchsurfers would know I'm nice

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a David Lynch fan, only from the last few month. since I grow up in the 90's I know a lot of television and movies from back than,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

back in 2009 I went of a fishing trip At the north pole. It was both for having an intense adventure and to make money. It took three month and the temperatures was below -15 most of the time, It was good for the fish but cold for us. I had so many plans as to how I should continue my journey, but as we where leaving the Brants sea, and leaving Russian territory, four storming ships from the Russian military stormed the ship and asked the capitan to take the ship to Murmansk.

the rest you'll need to hear from me :)
