Calm, open minded, easy going.
I am a registered architect living in New York City.
Used to couch surf in Europe, Japan and Australia. Happy to give back to the community!
Sometimes I can also keep lying at home all day watching movies.... love to try foods of different places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not sure if I still want to couchsurf again. Miss my travel time 6-7 years ago.
I went to Germany as an intern. These were what I wrote before.

“In a twinkling, there is only two month left and I have to go back. I find that don't know much about European culture, and I don't reconcile to this.
I still have a lot of stories want to share with the friends here,
I want to know more people here.
I also have a lovely couch in Detmold waiting for someone stay on it.”

Interests

I like all kinds of paintings, although many I do not understand.
But do we need to understand everything? Like is enough.

Music, Movies, and Books

My three favourite movies: Braveheart, Fight Club, 千と千寻の神隠し

I listen to all kind of music and also classical music. I play oboe in the philharmonic orchestra of my university.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking and camping in the desert of Inner Mongolia.
There are always so many amazing things in the experience of travelling. This summer I was in Israel and saw many shooting stars near the Dead Sea.
One time I was riding a motorcycle along the seashore to the other side of a small island to watch the sunrise in a hot spring in Taiwan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I haven’t been to South America and Africa yet. These are my two main goals in the following 5 years.

I can teach you some Mandarin, or some basic movements of Taichi.
I am a registered architect so I can also answer some questions about Architecture lol.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of stories from my travelling and mostly some interesting differences between Europe, US and China. I have been to most parts of China and I can be your tour guide. :)
