Hi! I'm a university student from Taiwan, currently doing an exchange program at the University of Tübingen in Germany.

During my time in Europe, I hope to travel around and experience as much as I can—not just the places, but the people and their cultures. I'm always eager to meet locals, share stories, and learn about different ways of life.

I'm studying Chinese Literature back in Taiwan, so if you're interested in learning Mandarin or exploring anything related to Chinese culture, I'd be more than happy to chat and share!

One reason I want to join this community is quite practical—accommodation like hotels can be really expensive, and as a student, I have a limited budget. But more importantly, I really want to immerse myself in local life and culture. I hope to understand each place I visit on a deeper level, and I also truly enjoy meeting new people!

音乐、电影和书籍

I enjoy classical music and sometimes listen to opera, but I also love pop songs—from Mandarin music in Taiwan to J-pop, K-pop, and Western pop. I’m especially into acoustic and emotional ballads.

I really enjoy movies that reflect different cultures. I love Chinese films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and The Grandmaster for their deep connection to Eastern traditions. But I also enjoy Western films like Eat Pray Love and Before Sunrise—stories about solo travel, self-discovery, and meaningful connections always speak to me.

When it comes to books, I really love classical Chinese literature—especially poetry. I'm a big fan of Tang poems, Song lyrics, and Yuan songs. I'd be super happy to talk about them with anyone who's interested!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While I was in Italy waiting to visit the Florence Cathedral (Duomo di Santa Maria del Fiore), I had a lovely conversation with an elderly couple from the United States and a middle-aged couple from Belgium, who were also in line. I was really happy that I stepped out of my introverted nature to talk with them—it was such a wonderful memory. It made me realize that meaningful human connection can truly transcend borders!
