My name is Yana)
I was born in small south city - Rostov-on-Don.Its very cozy and picturesque city, but i always dream to live in big town. Thats why once i woke up, package all my stuff and bought ticket.Now i live in Saint-Petersburg))Just few month but seems that much more)Love this city and with great pleasure show you all my favorite place if you were my guest))
I graduated philology and journalism department, didn't stay in this profession , but my love to people and their stories stay with me)) Sometimes i write short stories about cities, people, episodes from ordinary life which seems to me bright))When i travel i always take sharp pencil and notebook)) You never know what can inspire you))
During for a long time i worked in interior and architecture area) Worked with designers, worked as decorator,visit international exhibitions such as Salone de Mobili in Milan, Maison et Objet in Paris , La Biennale di Venezia and so on))
In my spare time I learn languages, read books, practice yoga,travel,organized art-parties with few artists))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is the biggest part of my life and I cannot imagine it without being able to change the scenery, to move and grow. And the most beautiful part is definitely to meet new people with different ways of life and thinking, to have good, mostly deep conversations and a good laugh. It’s always interesting to explore!
