I'm working my way towards camping on Mars one day.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Moscow, I now live in Philadelphia, PA. I moved from Russia when I was 18, so I went though a crucial stage of development while being in the States. Thus, I don't really know to which country/culture I actually belong.

I'm a very curious person - I feel the constant need to learn about how and why things around me exist and work. Space fascinates me - the NASA app on my phone helps me with my daily fixes). I'm also very much into environmental technologies and sustainable living.

I'm really bad at this 'about you' section :) But I guess I should still mention that I'm clean and respectful. I definitely prefer being friends and sharing daily experiences at dinner with the people I live with; however, if they don't feel like socializing much, I'm very good at giving them as much personal time and space as they need.

PHILOSOPHY

Whenever I make a decision, I keep two things in mind: there will never be a sunset like today; and on my death bed I will have most regret for the things I didn't do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I did my study abroad semester in Rome in the Fall of 2013, I traveled quite a lot. My two friends and I used couchsurfing to travel around Switzerland. We were hosted by the nicest group of roommates in Zurich.
