CURRENT MISSION

I have only recently moved to Poland, and look to expand my knowledge of this beautiful country and learn more about the local people and culture!

I figured that the best way to do this is by getting to know the locals: how they live, what their values are, what drives them in life.

ABOUT ME
I'm a researcher (cultural anthropologist) and a bit of a social science nerd. Very keen on endless discussions about life, world cultures, cultural differences, politics and society and how it can be improved for the better ;)
I travel around the world a lot and love discovering new places!

I'm into feminism and punk culture, nature and hiking, romanticism and existentialism, paganism and folk music.... Love visiting planetariums and learning about the universe and far-away galactics ✨️

Also a huge fan of Rainbow Gatherings and eco-villages (if you've ever been there, you'd know why) 😉 Although I don't fully identify myself as a hippie and don't look as one, getting that sense of freedom, cooperation, spirituality, compassion and love for all living beings, is something I'll cherish forever 💖 ❤️

PHILOSOPHY

Experiencing something new is my main source of inspiration. I don't like staying in the same place for too long. That's why I like travelling so much, especially, travelling to remote, off- the- beaten- track places, it really helps you broaden your outlook considerably.

I strongly believe in authenticity and staying true to my values and spirit. I have an accute awareness of the temporality of this life and its finitude, so I try to seek out opportunities and experiences that add meaning to life - be it reading a philosophical book, engaging in a thought-provoking discussion or exploring the different guises of life on Earth 🌎

What I don't like are the things that are a waste of time, like the
social stereotypes and confines of society that enstrange us from who we are and steal the time of our lives for the sake of things that have no real value

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relatively new to couchsurfing for now, the only thing I did was participate in the couchsurfing meetings in my hometown and couchsurf in Tbilisi for around 4 days. But this has been an absolutely amazing experience!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Ah, there're so many of them! I'm actually a big-time collector of memories; in times when I'm feeling low, I try to retrieve those memories to remind myself what makes life worth living. Here're my favorite moments:

Singing and playing drums next to a huge bonfire in a wild forest and looking at the falling stars in the night sky in the middle of August, wondering if there's anyone else out there in that huge universe but us

Travelling by train through Sweden from the very south to the north, far beyond the Arctic circle, seeing an endless ocean of fir trees from the train window, getting that otherworldly feeling of being far-far away from civilization and almost dissolving in nature

The Georgian Folk dance concert I went to once. It has simply taken my breath away, I've been literally glued to my seat for the full length of the show! And I have been in love with the Georgian music/dance ever since!
