About Me

ABOUT ME

I am currently living in an apartment in the historical center of Antwerpen, Belgium with my boyfriend Yari and our rescued dog, Yaegon. Hoping to spend as much time as possible with locals, couch surfing is an ideal way to help accomplish that mission :)

PHILOSOPHY

Generally, I am a calm and gentle person. I love hearing about other cultures and countries, and i love putting more countries on my "Places to go" list :) If you surf my couch, you can either find me making snacks for you or showing you around town, while my roommates share stories with you, or fill you up with wine (preferably beer actually, we have so many here in Belgium :p) If you want to visit or see specific stuff it's always nice to let me know before you arrive, but sometimes it's also just nice to go with the flow :)
When you stay at our place, you are of course free to come and leave as you please.

I'm gay, and I don't make a big deal about it. I trust you to feel the same way, although you don't have to be gay, of course. But please be gay friendly. If not, we will obviously not match :(

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thought it would be fun to be able to meet nice people abroad... and give other people the chanse to experience life here in Belgium, in Ghent, and help those who are in desperate (or less desperate) need of a place to sleep.
For the moment - since i'll be traveling around for quite some time - I'm generally looking for a couch anywhere my path wanders in South-America, or meet up with any of you locals :)
I don't have a place for the moment, so also no couch available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started to become active on CS around 2010. At this point we have CS'ers over about once every month or every two months, depending on how busy we are and if we're not traveling ourselves ;) Managed to keep that up for a few years, until i moved to a smaller place with more people and ... less couch space. Plan to make up for lost time though once i got my own place once again! I've taken many road trips through European countries and surfed many couches. It's my favorite way of traveling!
