Overview
About Me
I am an easy going and positive person. Love meeting new people and walk. I feel that there is some mission in helping others with a word of advice or a simple talk. "Pretending" to be just a teacher, I am trying to increase the level of tolerance and acceptance among my Russian students. It makes me happy when I see that people in Russia look at LGBT people as at human beings. When it doesn't happen, I want to leave the country. Probably, that is the reason I am coming to Toronto.
I love art, music, hiking, playing the piano, meditation and cycling. I am fond of mindfulness and yoga. I can talk about existential topics as well as simply about the weather or meditate in a blissing atmosphere.I am neat, spiritual and friendly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am an international student and coming to Toronto for MA program in Slavic Literature. I hope to start my first days there by meeting someone friendly who can show me around or share something about this place. Hopefully, eventually we could make friends.

I took the first prize in Ice Crafting Championship in China working in a team with my dad.
I was awarded with Fulbright Grant and taught my native language in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
I have created multiculturalism around me: being Russian, I taught yoga and meditation for the Indian community in the United States.
