ABOUT ME

I am a mystery to myself even now. Life is a journey for me that is both scary and quite interesting. I love to learn new things and live in the moment. I keep a very open mind. I believe that we are all humans and make mistakes, and thus I try to never judge. I absolutely love meeting new people and hearing their stories and seeing their perspectives. My favorite thing is to meet older people and hear about their life experiences, to see how it has shaped them.

PHILOSOPHY

To become the best of what you can be. Always grow, and explore. Expose yourself outside comfort zones, so you can adapt and evolve. Don't judge others, but try and understand them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have heard about couch surfing from my roommate, after I stayed on her couches for a while. She had hosted a few surfers since and it has been a great experience. Although I did not have this account before, I did surf on couches when going to conferences or other events. In all cases I have met wonderful people and I have learned more about myself. I want to continue with my experiences by both hosting and surfing.

Interests

Many things in life fascinate me. I have studied evolutionary biology, as well as sociology and Buddhism of mental psychology. I have joined swing dancing not long ago and am really enjoying it. I am also slowly learning to rock climb. I really want to pick up knitting again, and hopefully make myself a nice hat. I love live music and enjoy going to see concerts. Although I can't play well, acoustic guitar is my favorite instrument. I did try to learn tin whistle once, and perhaps I will pick it up again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most types of music, but specifically folk rock. I also enjoy a nice Celtic song, or to blast Chopin while taking a shower. Recently I started to listen to electric swing. I wonder how long it will take for my roommates to hate me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

here are some stupid things I have done, not sure if they are amazing, but I wont be doing them again.

* jumped of a cliff into the water without really knowing how to swim well.

* broke a leg on a play ground (first kid to do so in the whole history of school)

* skipped classes in grade 3

* getting lost almost everywhere I go
