I'm a student in my last year of college, and my dream is to see the world, one country at a time! I'm a talkative, energetic aerospace engineering and computer science student, and I'm passionate about spacecraft, dance, art, hiking, and cooking. I'm a storyteller and a master baker of banana nut bread (you know, the kind made from banana nuts), though if I got a double boiler for birthday my life might almost be complete. I live life with a work-hard, play-hard mentality, and I'm excited to explore the world!

I've always wanted to be an astronaut, to be the first human to step foot on Mars or beyond, and show the universe what humanity has achieved - we've left our beautiful little rock called Earth, and are off exploring the rest of the galaxy! I'm studying engineering to figure out how to build better rockets and spaceships so that one day, humans won't be confined with the limited resources of our planet.

I also love hiking and camping in the outdoors. When I'm sleeping out under the stars, it feels like it's just me and the universe, and that I'm an infinitely small speck in the grand scheme of things. At the same time, when I've finally reached the peak of a mountain - it feels like I can conquer the world!

When I'm not dreaming up ways to support life on Mars, I love curling up under a big fluffy comforter with a good book. I just finished reading Stephen King's The Stand! I'm also a big fan of Lorde and Yo Yo Ma.

Once I flew a Cessna aircraft over Hollywood and along the Pacific coast! It was so, so amazing to coast above the ocean and see Los Angeles sprawled out below me like a map, under a few wispy clouds.

I love hearing stories about the world and learning from people I meet. I believe that life is best lived learning new things every day and exploring outside of my comfort zone. I'm excited to share recipes and teach some Chinese or English and tell stories of my adventures!
