About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LIfe is an experience in living fully...

ABOUT ME

I've traveled internationally within another organization called Servas out of New York City America, the concept is based out of Denmark and is devoted to the simplicity of world peace through creating international friends. I've had stays in Germany, Asia(specifically Korea)and in the U.S.
I enjoy meeting new people sharing life experiences, while making the world a little smaller through meeting real people, in their real world and looking through their world as well the seeing new areas and cultures by hangin' out with the locals,... Looking into the eye of another possible friend or new friendship, and not of strangers passing in the street has it's advantages. ... Like being a tourist doesn't allow for these real connections to take place. The biggest difference; couch-surfing literally nurtures them ...

PHILOSOPHY

Progressive Libertarian. Daoist philosophy, and live as healthy as legally possible, not interested in the non interesting people especially (stuffy, ego centered or...?)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting back after several years of not traveling. I've been on the move (Charlottesville, Virginia currently) When I first started surfing , I had two fantastically successful stays, and one moderatley successful hosting experience. I'm a good tour guide (when I'm home) and want to make(meet) many interesting friends from the U.S. and the International community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveled alot, lived alot, love to talk deeply, see good film, and generally live life... Currently treating acupuncture patients, speaking when possible about the topic of personal wellness care, and preparing a meditation/self help model centered in Oriental medicines "8 limbs". Writing on the brain, addiction therapy and bringing palpable awareness signals to clients (people) to support and elevate conscious awareness. Changing the world one patient/client at a time...

Interests

Varied... and including meditation /prayer, gardening, fitness and spending time relaxing. Plenty of things to read, think about and do,.... Chinese calligraphy, photography, hiking camping as well as an assortment of non important but fun things... !

Music, Movies, and Books

Documentaries, always... Cult Classics, Quentin Teretino's work, some of Woody Allen's work... Saww Spike Lees work "Black Clansmen, (dark comedy) create some weird/interesting draw to me. Love a variety of foreign films and esoteric topic matter and thought provoking scripts and scenery...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm, alot of small wonders that have been presented in such insignificant ways that others wouldn't see as significant or important...
I've seen and witnessed alot of synchronicity in my life, moments that amaze me with a chance to witness conscious awareness... allowing my innate witness to experience what is taking place.... Without judgment etc. ... is a big key for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes...! Currently writing a paper on integrating neurobiology and oriental medicine. Learning is fundamental and always a good idea...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Alot or nothing, depends on topic matter etc....?

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cuba, Germany, India, South Korea
