About Me

PLEASE NOTE! I live in Pavia, a city about 40 minutes away from Milano by regional train. If you are looking to visit Milano then it's not the most comfortable place to stay.

I've been living in Italy for 6 years now and fallen in love with their culture (specially food). After 5 years living in Milano I've recently moved to Pavia, a small city just a bit outside (cheaper and more quiet!). I share my appartment with my cat Mogwai. I work some days in Milano, but mostly I work from home.

I'm learning to draw and to use watercolours. After years of taking nice pictures of my trips I'd like to try another way to capture memories of the places where I go.

I am sensitive, I like connecting with people, having long talks and getting to know how they think and feel. I am in this world to learn.. and teach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've made many friends around the world thanks to couchsufring. People has been very kind to me, opened the doors of their house and lives and I'm willing to give that kindness back to somebody else :)

Interests

I like taking pictures. I'm completely an amateur but I love learning new techniques and editing.
I like reading, learning languages and learning.. whatever... I like meditating and to learn about how to live a more spiritual life.

I'm a feminist and I believe in human rights.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading biographies, and watching documentaries and interviews of artists, activists. I'm always interested in learning about real life events from the past wether it's through a film, a book or a movie.
I enjoy going to the cinema and discussing the movie after, and I guess it applies to all cultural activities: I like experiencing but also discussing with others, so I can learn from other points of view and perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snorkelled in Ecuador and I felt so happy!
I sold almost all of my belongings, quit my job and career, and I became a traveller.
I took a Vipassana course and spent 10 days in silence in the woods of Tasmania.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like cooking, I'm organised and neat. I like putting things in order, painting.. taking care of a garden.. any activity that requires dedication and patience. I like teaching, specially languages. I would like to learn more about photography which is a hobbie I enjoy a lot. / Me gusta cocinar, soy organizada y prolija.
