About Me

Used couch surfing for an epic road trip - time to repay the favor!

————-

I used to work in IT but hated it so I quit my job and am trying to live life to the fullest. I like sports, food, and meeting new people.

Currently, I am travelling the USA with my Doodle-dog. He's great company.

I've been on the road since the end of April, and hoping to travel until the beginning of August. So far it's been mainly camping, but I've had a couple amazing couch surfing experiences and I hope to keep that going - especially because it's getting too hot for the puppy.

Currently can't host, only looking to stay places, but I'm working on getting my dad on Couch Surfing to host in Seattle to offest my drain on the community. Also as soon as I have a place I can host, that "Not Accepting Guests" will flip to "Accepting Guests".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling the US, looking for places to stay when I'm not camping out.

I really enjoy it as a way of meeting locals, getting the inside scoop on a community, swapping stories.

My dog loves meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

How about podcasts?
Currently reading: Dark Star Safari
Books: Harry Potter, Into the Wild, Travels with Charlie
Movies: Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Ip Man, anything Jackie Chan
Music: I like most music but frankly pretty ambivalent and dumb about what I'm listening to at any given time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Let's do four.
Traveled to Nepal in 2015 after the Earthquake there and volunteered with an amazing organization for two months.
Quit my job, traveled across the country (2x)
Baked bagels at the best bagel shop in Seattle
Got a dog
