ABOUT ME

I am cheerful, love to explore new things and live in the moment. The world is round and I am eager to experience different culture and traditions from people around the world. I come from Malaysia, which is a multi-ethnic country and it is also dubbed as "Food Heaven". I can't wait to introduce the richness of Malaysia culture and food to all my friends. I went to China for a voluntary project and it changed the perspective of how I view the world. I met friends from 69 different countries during the project and I love to exchange ideas and culture with a great diversity of people. Also, I have a host family during my life as a student abroad in UK currently. We talked and had a fun time everytime we met for afternoon lunch. I hope to do the same with the couchsurfers I met.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will introduce the best part of my hometown, Klang to the surfers who come to my hometown. I will take the surfers to try the well-known herbal soup with pork, also known as "Bak Kut Teh". Not only that, I can take the surfers to the I City which is a garden with illuminating LED decoration, located just 20minute drive from my house. I can also introduce the best part of the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, which is only 30 minutes to 45 minutes drive from my hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was being couch surfed by one of my friend, Benson in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia. It was a nice experience which I will never forget for life. Kelantan is the northest state of West Peninsular of Malaysia which is bordering Thailand. Benson showed me the best part of Kota Bharu by taking me to the beautiful waterfall Lata Tembakah. His mum also cooked the famous local food, Nasi Dagang (Rice steamed in coconut milk with fish curry). I had a wonderful couch surfing experience and I will do the same for the surfers who come to my hometown.

I love to play badminton, listening to music and reading. I love to listen to jazz, classic and hip hop. Also, I enjoy reading book about history because I think that we can learn so much from history by not repeating the mistakes that have been done by the people in the past. During spare time, I enjoy meeting people by joining all sorts of volunteering work such as recycling and teaching children English.

Built a boat with friends using woods and some empty containers. Stargazing at the seaside and finding blur crystal with friends.

I can speak well in many languages such as Chinese, English and Malay language. I can teach you any one of these languages. Also, I can cook some Asian food to you.
