Rules if you want me to accept you :
* I host only those that knows what CS is, and what it was meant for - which means, if I give part of my time, part of my room and privacy, I expect to be treated more then just a "free bed", because CS is not about the free bed, it's about the experience and meeting new people!
* It's very unlikely that I'll accept a guest on the same day of request
* I don't host during Shabbats (Friday night), and will accept only after Shabbat is over in those cases
* Don't be rude, accept the house rules (so no shouting to the outside, filming the whole house without permission, etc.. I'm saying it due to bad experience..)
* If you're asking to come more then one person then I'll want you to share a link to the other person CS profile or Facebook or anything else, I want to know who I'm hosting
* If you don't have enough references I might want to add you on Facebook or in some cases have a video chat before to make sure you're not a terrorist :), so yeah, be communicative! (Otherwise I might suspect you're also only coming for a free bed)
* Give me a way to communicate with you outside of CS website - since I'm not always online and we need to communicate somehow right? (whatsapp is great for it)
* Be comunicative!!!
The key is very simple - Be nice, be friendly = I'll be the best host I can be! and I can!
I'll be honest - I prefer hosting people who are sharing my similar political views (or at least not criticize my nation) which means they are not doubt in our right to live in our country, which Jerusalem is its eternal capital and that Israel are not war criminals (because we are simply not, but we are not so effective on the media so it's biased mostly against us..) truth and facts are supporting my views, for those who are willing to see the truth and ignore the noise..
P.s. I'm not as scary as those "rules" looks like ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know many foreigners that are my friends (and not only from couchsurfing), and it's always great to meet new people! learn about them and their lives, and let them know more about my life and my country!
mostly hosted so far I think, but also experienced being hosted, and I definatly enjoy a host that can be a part of my adventure and experience, and want the same from my guests! it's not about saving money or a "place to sleep" it's more about making new friendships around the globe :D
