Yann is my name. I grew up in a small village in the countryside of France, somewhere between Brittany and Normandy. I started traveling at 19 years old (back in 2013). It was such a huge step for a small town boy like me! It definitely changed my life as you can imagine.

I have been traveling through Europe, Asia, Oceania and America since then, working and living in some of those countries (Ireland, Australia, Japan...) and exploring others. Canada welcomed me in 2021 and I spent 3 years in this country (time flies!). I lived mostly in the Yukon as I fell in love with that place and I eventually became a permanent resident of Canada.

I spent this last year and a half traveling around Mexico, Central America, Colombia and Ecuador. Going to Latin America was probably the best decision I made in 2024. I just really love the influence that the Latin culture left in me. I'm now back in Europe, the motherland, traveling a bit around the continent that I don't know enough. But I'm planning on going to live in Chile for a few months soon

Interests

I am truly passionate about history, anthropology, geography, geopolitics but also zoology. I never had a job that really matches my passions but I will be more than happy when it happens.

Beside these interests, I am a really active person. Always ready to hike that nearby mountain, cycling across new lands or camping in national parks. Even though I like having some time to relax at home, I just feel like being out everyday, even just for a quick walk
