Hiiii!!! I am Yannes from Hong Kong. I am now studying speech and hearing science in the University of Hong Kong. I like exploring and taking up challenge. Although it may be sometimes tough, the satisfaction I got after achieving always outweighs the hardship.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling. I enjoy sightseeing but what I enjoy the most is having a taste of the local culture. Couchsurfing provides me with a chance to live in a home of local people and share our life with each other. This is definitely different from living in hostel or hotel.

Interests

Music can always refresh my mind. I enjoy singing in a choir, playing piano and gu zheng. I am a member of Hong Kong University Students' Union Choir. The moment that I sing with my team mate on the stage is definitely wonderful! I have been learning gu zheng, a Chinese instrument, with my friend for busking in Europe. I enjoy playing duet with my friend which is much much nicer than playing solo.

I also enjoy outdoor activities. I like going hiking, cycling, swimming and running during weekend with my friends. Although they are sometimes tiring,they can definitely refresh your body and mind after busy weekdays.

In this summer, I am going to performing duet in gu zheng with my friend as busking in Europe. I am more than willing to show or even teach you gu zheng if you would like to see:D
Although I only know little in cooking, I am willing to cook you some Chinese cuisines .
