My name is Yannes, I am 25 years old and I was born and raised in big Berlin city, where I lived until last year.
I spent 1 year in Costa Rica working as a Volunteer and learning spanish. Probably the best year of my life. While travelling I surfed some couches not knowing yet, that there is real community around it. When I found out there was my year and travels got even better! Even though I thought that was not possible, but as I learned quickly Couchsurfing is always good for a surprise and thats why I love it.

I recently moved to Austria to study. I hope to travel a bit to some places in Europe I haven't been to. :) At the moment I am in South America to travel Peru, Bolivia and Chile after I finished my semester abroad in Valparaiso.

I surfed couches in Costa Rica, the US and Chile and also hosted in Berlin and Austria.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really made amazing experiences with couchsurfing while travelling in Central and North America and now I'm trying to give something back. I surfed a couple couches in Costa Rica and New York and Amsterdam. I also had some people stay with me in Berlin.

I saw the pacific ocean and carribean sea at the same time standing on top of Costa Ricas highest mountain, the Chirripo (3820Meters), while watching the sunset.

The underwater world while diving..just too crazy.
