Hi! I'm Yannick, a man who likes people and nature. I was born in Basel, Switzerland and grew up in Mexico City. My dual nationality (German-Belgian) is due to my parents.

I studied in the UK, studied and worked in Beijing and Shanghai, and am currently doing my Master's in Political Economy in Amsterdam. I also spend time in Basel and Brussels.

I'm here to host curious travellers and to get to know locals when I travel, as I believe getting to know similar people cross-culturally is the best way to experience traveling and learning about other's' walks of life.

If I were to host someone who was willing, I'd show him my favorite corners of the town, but more importantly I like the idea of sharing a roof, food and laughs with someone.
