I'm a 25 year old engineering student from Darmstadt. During the week I usually spend most of the daytime studying or working part-time. Afterwards I enjoy doing sports (volleyball, fitness, salsa regularly), food (&the cooking), meeting friends, going out and playing all sorts of games. I like to keep busy and meet people.

For vacations I prefer exploring over laying on the beach, except for maybe one day. Usually my daily life is more relaxing than my time off since I like active and exciting travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While visiting other countries I heard from other travelers that they sometimes stay with people in the region instead of hostels or hotels. And since I prefer experiencing more than the popular sights I felt like trying this myself.
And I'd be glad to show some of my favorite places in my hometown should someone stop by.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find a lot of movies and music entertaining. It's really ranging from very calm to energizing, depending on my mood. However I don't read much outside my university work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling around south-east-Asia after a semester in Singapore was one of the best times in my life and I would definitely recommend the region!
