Hi there,
I'm a PhD student who is interested in nature, animals, traveling and getting to know new people.
I grew up with a german shepherd, which is why I'm really a dog person. Since my girlfriend and I don't have the time to have a dog on our own we love to go outside with the dogs of friends and neighbours. However, to bring a little bit more life in our flat we own octodon degus, which are really fun to watch.
I like to do sports and read in my spare time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend and I both like to see new places and cultures which is why we made trips to Wien, Berlin, London, Dublin and Belfast in the past. Now we plan to make our first backpacking trip, which will be a quite new experience for us. I think you always get to see the most interesting places when you know someone in the area you are in and Couchsurfing gives you a good opportunity to get in contact with the people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite type of books are either Thrillers or all kind of phantasy stuff, where I like books of the russian author Alexej Pehov the most. A few years ago I decided to read "A song of Ice and Fire" by Goerge R.R. Martin as well which i found pretty amazing even before the TV-show went viral. My favorite type of music is either rock or metal, but not the kind of metal where you can't understand a word ;)
