Hey:) I'm Yannick and more of a adventurous traveler and love to spend time outside, camping or exploring the wilderness by car, canoe, kajak, bike or by foot but I also enjoy some time in civilization;) I love seeing new places, meeting new people, exploring different cultures and exchange travel experience with eachother. My favorite place in the world is a campfire because there you always can have the best, deepest and most interesting talks about literally anything:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to know local people is the one and only true experience for me when I travel somewhere. There's simply no better way to learn about other cultures, people, food and everything else. Couchsurfing therefore for me is the easiest way to connect with other people from all over the world. No hotel, holiday home or even campsite can do that;) Plus you can't just meet people you also can meet friends:)

Interests

I love doing outdoor sports and trips of any kind! In the summer I go cycling, kayaking (whitewater and sea), climbing mountains and exploring or diving in caves (which we have a lot of around here!). In the winter I love to go skiing (downhill in the alps and crosscountry around Tübingen) or go snowshoehiking or all of the summer-activities combined with warmer clothing😄
At home I like to play the piano occasionally and usually hang out with friends on the balcony, in the park or in one of our many little pubs here. Once in a while it can also become a little wild;)

I like to do traveling of any kind but mostly love to be in the wild. With friends I sometimes spend a week or two with canoes on a wild river or on the sea with seakajaks apart from anything else with campfires, good talks and a lot of fun🤗
I also love roadtrips, long bicycle trips or just traveling by hitchhiking:)

But what actually makes all of that unforgettable are the people! Without them the experience is not even half as fun;)
