ABOUT ME
Swiss postgrad student in Lausanne, Switzerland.
I'm about to finish my studies, at the end of this year if all goes well. I'm studying French, English and American literature, a choice I don't regret at all, as through all the books we read, it is the whole world that we have in front of us. We can learn about history, philosophy, politics... I've learned as much about French medieval culture, postmodern Scotland, the War in Vietnam, gay and lesbian literature, African-American struggle for justice, French philosophy... All this knowledge which I then confront to the world I'm witnessing, through my trips around our beloved planet Earth.
I can't hide that I am deeply in love with my country, but I am also going abroad everytime I have some holidays. During the last two years, I've had the great chance to visit Sri Lanka, Thailand, Norway, Sweden, to go accross the United States, week-ends in Berlin, London, Rome, and Scotland.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is always evolving as the years go by, and will probably evolve up until I die. I am a kind of agnostic-anarchist who believes that no universal truth can be attained by our limited human brains, that asking the question of the meaning of life is meaningless, that the world is only composed of atoms, that we should enjoy our life the best we can while we are lucky enough to be here.
I think people should be allowed to do what they want as long as they don't disturb other's right to do so as well. That means, fuck off and let us gay people get married, let the ones who want to use drugs do so, let the religious people practice their beliefs and rituals, etc...
But I love to confront my own ideas to other people's views. So let's meet and I would be happy to talk about all this.
