Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I like to discover the big and little differences between people way of life. (Maybe that's why I'm a sociologist :) ) But just to be provided a couch is such a good deal for me too ;)

I am a very enthusiastic and curious person, but pretty calm at the same time. I am currently amazed by all the things the world as to offer: nature, culture, events, etc. and feel very privileged to be able to discover a little part of that :)

Interessen

I like to learn, to discuss, (as well about philosophy that about the last GOT or the FMI), to dance (every type of dance, rock'n roll, hip hop, funk, jazz,...), to walk and to travel, to discover ways of life I don't know,...
I really like to watch documentaries and recently I discovered the wonderful world of podcasts, which mean now I can be double my nerdiness and embroider while listening to podcasts about orca's matriarchal educational system.
I should also highlight that I'm politcally a leftist, feminist and antiracist :)

Harry Potter of course, Game of thrones, Americanah, Pearl Buck, "Pas pleurer" (a book about anarchists villages in Spain during the 30's)
music: I'm very eclectic, but I really like blues, classic rock'n roll, hard rock, and Indie Folk.
But I cant resist to Shakira when I'm on the dancefloor :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

We crossed Québec with my boyfriend last year and we saw whales and dolphins while kayaking: given that I'm already excited when I see a squirrel, I was delighted ^^

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach some dance moves, some gluten-free veggies recipes, I really like to discuss politics and society, and I know a ridiculous amount of anecdotes regarding animal behavior (did you know spermwhales sleep with one eye open all the time, that craw could lie to their peers, or that squids have only one hard bone between their eyes?). :)
...Yeah, I'm not really useful.
