Hi, hi, hi, fellow surfers! We are Yannik (25) and Paula(24) and currently we dont really have a home.
Since we want to travel as much of this world as possible, we gave up our apartment in Leipzig, and just startet hitchhiking south. We haven´t really thought of a specific route, we just know that we want to spend some time in Greece, Turkey and Georgia. And we are extremely excited for everything that might happen on our way there.
Before we started our journey we lived together in the city of Leipzig, where we both tried to study different things (nothing really worked for us though). Yannik is really happy living his live on a day to day basis, learning new stuff on his own, outside of the world of basic education and day to day jobs, and Paula really wants to become a midwife, but also wants to live a little before she submitts to the working live.
In our daily live we used to cook a lot, as we love food. We mostly eat vegan, whilst travelling we make a lot of exeptions though. And we cant wait to taste all the different foods that we will encounter.
The languages we speak are English, German and also hablamos un poco de Español e falamos um pouco de portugues. Well, at least we understand the latter ones. Also Paula is currently trying to learn some greek, but turns out that its kinda hard to learn.
We're two open minded people always longing for new adventures!
Our main aims in life are to travel the world and to be independent and free individuals.
Adventure, laughter and political discussions are always welcome!

Music, Movies, and Books

We like many kinds of music but we really enjoy some electronic music like techno,tek and psy, but also different kinds of punk , especially folk punk and hc. Yannik also loves hip hop and we both enjoy every song that involves a banjo.... the list goes on except for pop.

a Clockwork Orange, 2001 a Space Odyssee, Victoria, The Big Lebowski, The Beakfast Club, Club der toten Dichter, León the Professional, Kill Bill - you name it.

The same goes for books - we are both passionate readers and we acutually enjoy many different kinds of books: the range goes from novels all the way to scientific books. Paula sometimes thinks there is no book that Yannik hasn´t read.

Also we are both kind of Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring Nerds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Have been on a houseboat for 3 weeks in Southern Ireland
- Taking the Tasara Train from Zambia to Tansania
- going to different music festivals around the world
