About Me

I do physics for the fame
And dancing for the fortune 😄
Love martial arts but anti-violence✌️
Happy to have long conversations about any topic that triggers our interests!

I'm Canadian with roots in India and elements of Portuguese and British. I grew up in Pune and Ottawa, and lived (for a month or more) in Vancouver, Mississauga, Karlsruhe, Vienna, Mumbai, Goa, and Barcelona :-) For now, I've settled in my favourite city in the world - Montréal ☺

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveler, I love meeting interesting, open-minded people. To get immersed in a new culture through my host's lifestyle. When visiting a new place, I explore the culture, cuisine, activities, and make friends! I try to feel like a local 😁

As a host, I enjoy new people as much as new places so I'd love to show you around or give you a couch to crash if you need one. Hosting Couchsurfers gives me a chance to meet curious people and feel like I'm travelling from right here at home. I've hosted people from Israel, Columbia, Canada, India, France, Germany, England, Brazil, Austria, Australia, Ireland, Turkey, Netherlands, China, USA... Can't wait to meet you!

I've made some of my best friends through Couchsurfing. Everyone's got a unique perspective to share. Sometimes you meet two friends who are travelling together but have completely different stories because each perspective is different. Couchsurfing brings the world closer.

Interests

When I have energy, it's dancing, martial arts, sports.
When I need to think, it's meditating, swimming, scuba diving, bicycling.
When the inspiration hits, I paint, write, play the violin.
Bet you we have a common interest 😉

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed through a micro-burst thunderstorm on the Ottawa river due to a bad weather forecast.

Got eaten alive by mosquitoes in India while hiking through a forest. And then almost encountered a tiger. I never bought that brand of mosquito repellent again.

Fell asleep in the grass in Italy one night. When we woke up, we realized we were in the middle of a market! People were serving food over my head.

Teach, Learn, Share

Would be happy to teach you jive dancing or martial arts.
Happy to teach or learn a new recipe or activity!

My first teaching experience was to train my dog to know the difference between right and left paw when shaking hands. It was all uphill from there 😅

What I Can Share with Hosts

As many diverse, deep, or fun conversations as you have the energy for 🙂
Showing you around (if I have time), dancing, long walks, sunset from my balcony
