About Me
Hey there !
I’m a 24 years old French backpacker who travelled around the world. Currently I’m working in Paris in order to save some money and make another world tour.
I hope to discover as many cultures and countries as possible ! And that’s the reason why I’m on Couchsurfing.
I’m sharing the apartment of my parents with my brother and as my parents are gone to Brussels for at least 5 years we would like to host travelers in order to discover new people, new cultures and have the opportunity to speak English more often !
We also speak a little German and the girlfriend of my brother speaks very well Spanish.
I decided to become a host on CS because I’ve been hosted 3 times on CS and it was great all the times!
I would like to show people a real experience in Paris and not only the main sights as the Eiffel Tower, Le Louvre or The Arc de Triomphe which are all interesting parts of the city but you’ll see only tourists there.
See you ! :)
About my trip:
I decided to travel first across Europe, then in South-East Asia and New Zealand and finally Canada.
My journey started mid-May 2017 in Paris and took me to Canada by South East Asia and New Zealand.
I worked one month in Denmark (Aalborg) in a little family farm where I had to weed a lot, chopping wood, taking care of children and animals, cooking and cleaning the 2 B&B appartements.
After that I went to Finland (Uusi Vartsila) by going through Sweden in a house without electricity and running water. I had to renovate a house into some different appartments, building a dry toilet and taking care of the garden. It was one of my best experiences !
After Finland I traveled to many countries in East Europe and ended my EU trip in Athens where i took a plane to Bali, Vietnam and Cambodia. I spent in each country more than 2 weeks. I discovered a lot as it was my first time in Asia. Then I went to New Zealand where I spent one month and I felt from a roof as I was cleaning it ...but nothing really bad. After New Zealand I went to Vancouver where I met 2 amazing CS hosts, they were just perfect ! I ended my trip in Montreal where I’ve been hosted by my cousin.
Of course I have more to say about me and my trip but it will be better to speak about it to you in face to face ! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to discover different cities with the point of view of a local and not of a tourist book/website. I also like to spend time with people and have a good talk with them.
Also I will probably use my parents appartment in Paris to host some CS travelers as they live now in Brussels.
Interests
My favorite hobby is traveling, meeting new people, learning new cultures and discovering new landscapes.
When I was in France I used to be a greeter in several cities (Montpellier, Lyon, Toulouse and Paris). I love talking about my culture/country/city to visitors. It’s even more pleasant when I have to speak English in order to improve it. My aim in English is to be able one day to pronounce correctly words and not with a french lovely accent.
I also like watching movies, cooking and playing board games or video games.
I played 7 years handball but I stopped it when I had to work and study in the same time...
