Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Best way to discover countries and people. More of fun and unexpected adventures ! (And, I admit, it's cheaper...)

Interests

I like hiking, specially in moutains or (more or less) desertic landscapes. Just a backpack and a map (I hate GPS !).
I practice Aïkido since two years now. I like the "non-attack/pacific" style of this martial art. In september, I begin rock climbing (big challenge : I'm afraid of heights).
My kitchen often become a bakery. I like making breads of all sorts.
I stop here the list. I can continue on many pages. I'm interesting in many many things and I try to learn in all of them... Not enough time in a life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are Westerns, Tarantino's and Mad Max. I don't know why. I like violent characters interested only by money : exactly those I dislike in real world.
I read (and write sometimes) fantasy and science-fiction essentially. I'm a fan of some authors like A. Damasio, J-P.Jaworski, D. Simmons, etc.) I read also lot of classics, poetry and comics.
I can listen and appreciate all kinds of music. (But I especially like Electro, Traditionnal, Punk rock, Blues, and Folk)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2009, I travelled across Europa by hitch-hiking. I went from Brittany (France) to Istanbul (Turkey). Many adventures on the road !
Next year, I was volunteer to become a shepherd in Alps. Nice job. :)
I realised some archaeologist excavations in Labrador (Canada), on a desert island. Only surrounded by billions of mosquitos and some bears...
