I am a Chinese who lived in Melbourne for 5 years and moved to Adelaide in late 2020. I have been travelling a lot prior Covid but these days I am just wandering around Australia and exploring a few national parks. I love roadtrips and wish I could have more chances to drive around Australia. But unfortunately I am leaving Australia very soon :( and moving to Sweden to do my masters degree.
I have been to 10 countries and so far I found Southeast Asia very enjoyable. I visited Vietnam 5 times in the past 4 years (actually 3 bc I wouldn’t be able to travel in 2020).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have many good experiences with couch surfing and staying with locals, it is an amazing way to explore a new place and see the real side of it. On top of that, everyone has their own story and is on their own chapter of life, I am always happy to have some chat with different people and always able to find something to learn from others.
I am a good listener if you would like to share your story with me. Or otherwise I believe we would have good time just by making friends and knowing each other’s culture and values.

Interests

Trying new cuisine and meeting new friends are the biggest reward of travelling. I met my best friend in Vietnam and many of my long-term friendships actually starts on journeys. I always love meeting new people, trying new friends and listening new stories and interesting souls.

My Hobbies:
- Film photography ( I can develop film at home!)
- caffeine (especially from Vietnamese coffee)
- Hiking and seeing nature
- Travel by road or by rail
- Seeing cities, lanes, hidden cafes and wandering off to nowhere
- Having a chat with new friends
