Hi, we are two close friends. We came to the U.S. with a Work & Travel program last summer and spent four months here. We are Turkish and currently we live in America. Any chance we get, we pack our bags and keep traveling.

It’s a little difficult to tell who is who from our profile photos, but let that be a surprise :)

I’m Nur, I’m 24 years old and recently started my master’s in Food Science at the University of Maine. I’m also a licensed scuba diver—if you’re curious about diving, I’d love to chat! 🐬

It’s Yaren! I’m 23. I graduated in Food Engineering and will start my master’s in Food Science at UIUC. I’m also a licensed sailor and love sailing ⛵️

We love traveling, meeting new people, and exploring cities with locals. We can talk about food, different cultures, Türkiye, Europe, and all the adventures we’ve had while traveling and working.
