Hi there, My name is Yasemin but my friends all call me Axi. I currently attend Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. I grew up in Hong Kong and have been traveling since I can remember. I am half Turkish half British but I will always see Hong Kong as home. I love meeting new people and learning new languages (currently learning some Turkish!). My roommate and I are planning a road trip up to Quebec/ Montreal as we need to destress after failing our finance exams. Neither of us has ever experienced Montreal but we are very open, spontanious and adventurous people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two summer I worked at a dive center in Kalkan, Turkey for three months, earning my open water license and my advanced open water. it was an amazing experience as even though I was not paid, I was able to dive in the beautiful crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean for free.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I grew up in Hong Kong as a third culture kid, I would like to share my experience in my life with hosts and I also want to know more about life of different hosts, when I meet more people I also find out more about myself. Its very interesting to see how different country's shape the way we grow up.
