About Me

I grew up in a little country called Bartin in Turkey. I left my hometown and started to live in Ankara for the university education when I was 17. After 8 years in my beloved city, I came to the United Kingdom for my second master education. First, I lived in London for six months and I'm currently living in Cardiff. Always passionate about discovering more about everything. Love feeling the fear of trying something new which has unpredictable consequences or something that you can't just see the end. A little bit obsessed with cleaning but trying to get rid of it :))

By the way, I am in Japan until 3 September 2017 (5-6 August - Kyoto, 7 August - Osaka, 8-15 August - Okinawa, rest of in Tokyo) so I am open any suggestion regarding related to Japan :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Want to find out more about the world!!

Interests

Love running, hiking, being in nature.
Getting lost in pages of my books.
The whole WORLD, since 16 have been sleeping with a huge world map hanging on the wall next to my bed wherever I live. In fact, my biggest aim in this life is that seeing and living in different countries, being part of other people's lives and their journeys and gathering unforgettable memories with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't have any favourite music could be anything depends on what I am doing but mostly prefer to listen more boisterous and intimate melodies like the accoustic version of almost everything and jazz.

I have favourite directors and screenwriters like Krzysztof Kieślowski, Ingmar Bergman. If say more contemporary ones, definitely Richard Linklater, Alejandro González Iñárritu and Nuri Bilge Ceylan.

And I have too many favourite books and writers but my most favourite writer is a Turkish novelist Yasar Kemal.
