I was born in India. Moved to the States when I was 11 years old. Grew up in California till college and moved to Texas.

I think those three places I spent time in was at different phases of life and I have a different understanding of each culture and I appreciate various cultures and am interested in learning and meeting people from various cultures.

I like to cook. The past two years of college has given me a great appreciation to cook and I think I might have inherited some of my mom's talents. I don't have any food that I could say I'd turn down unless it's something that deserves to be on the show Bizzarre Foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's amazing to meet people and to be able to do that for free makes it twice as nice. I found out about this website during my sophomore year of college and it epitomizes my college career so far: living on an extremely tight budget while still having as much fun as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kanye West is my favorite artist of all time. I however appreciate music as a whole and try and branch out. According to Spotify, I spent 36000 minutes this past year listening to music and listening to 1200 different artists.

Interstellar. That movie captured my imagination beyond my wildest dreams.

The Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell is my favorite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a huge music fan and built a chrome extension named Spot-A-Voice. I wanted to be able to control spotify through voice commands and this extension does exactly that.
