Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couched surfed couple of times and it was an unique experience. It is not just about the couch you get, it is about meeting new people. I love to learn about the local culture, eat local food and spend the time in the city like a local.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My mum has two older sisters, let's call them J and U. J is the oldest, U is in the middle and my mum's the youngest.

So one fine day aunt J was sleeping with her hair left open because she'd just washed it, and I was on her lap. After she'd slept, I walked into the kitchen, picked up a pair of scissors and cut my little toe off.

Just kidding!

I brought the scissors into the room where my aunt was sleeping and proceeded to cut her hair willy-nilly. Like she's lying there asleep and I'm merrily cutting her hair.

Aunt U walks in on the scene wondering what the hell I'm up to, sees me ransacking my poor aunt's hair, and starts scolding me but ends up laughing. Aunt J wakes up flabbergasted and eventually laughs it off as well.

I was two or three. I don't even remember doing this!

Teach, Learn, Share

According to me, surfing isn't just about a place to sleep. It's about the exchange of knowledge and culture. I've traveled more than 25 countries in last couple of years and have really awesome experiences and stories to share.

Countries I’ve Visited
