Overview
About Me
I’m Yasin — electrical engineer by degree, international deal-maker by day, and part-time explorer of good vibes, hidden spots, and questionable late-night decisions 😄
I travel a lot for work, but I treat every city like a mini adventure. I’m the type who can go from a business meeting straight to a random place, then end up at a rooftop bar with new friends 2 hours later.
I’m easygoing, curious, and always up for a good laugh. I enjoy deep conversations… but also completely useless ones at 2 AM. If you know a cool place, I’m in. If you don’t — we’ll find one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to meet interesting people and experience cities through real connections.
I enjoy good conversation, a bit of spontaneity, and the kind of company that makes time pass without noticing. I believe the right people can turn a simple plan into something memorable.
Let’s just say… I appreciate good energy, good vibes, and seeing where that leads 😉

Music, Movies, and Books
Music 🎧
My playlist is a bit of a mess—in a good way. I can go from Drake to Travis Scott, then randomly switch to some Arabic classics like Amr Diab.
Basically, if it has a good vibe, I’m in. Bonus points if it sounds even better at night with a view.
⸻
Movies 🎬
I like movies that keep you thinking or just fully entertain you—no in-between 😄
Big fan of things like Inception and The Wolf of Wall Street… but I’m also down for a random comedy if the mood is right.
⸻
Books 📚
Not gonna pretend I read every day 😄 but I like books that actually give value or change how you think.
Stuff like Rich Dad Poor Dad or anything around mindset, business, and real-life experiences.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I basically hit the “restart” button on life and made it work.
Moved to a completely new country alone, didn’t know many people, had to adapt fast… and somehow turned it into a career working internationally, building connections, and traveling across countries.
So yeah — I’m proof that sometimes the crazy decisions actually turn out to be the best ones.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can share what I know about international business, dealing with suppliers (especially China), and a bit of electrical engineering basics. Also happy to teach you some Arabic phrases… the useful ones, not just “hello” 😄
Learn:
I’m always curious about local culture, how people really live (not the tourist version), and of course your favorite spots in the city — especially the ones you don’t find on Google.
Share:
Good conversations, travel stories, business experiences, and probably a drink while talking about life, plans, and random ideas at 2 AM.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good energy, great conversations, and zero awkward silence 😄
I can share stories from living and working across different countries, insights about business and dealing with China, and a bit of the “how to survive and adapt anywhere” mindset.
Also:
– Arabic culture (and some fun phrases you’ll actually use)
– Travel hacks and real experiences, not Instagram versions
– Cooking a simple homemade meal if we have time (or at least helping 😄)
– And of course… good company, laughs, and maybe a drink while we exchange stories
I’m the kind of guest who blends in easily, respects your space, and still makes the time we hang out actually memorable.
