About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meeting locals to hang out and show me around. If couch is available, that would be GREAT!
ABOUT ME
I used to work as a psychologist for children, not doing a PhD in Social Psychology at Sussex, Brighton. I like traveling, festivals, and meeting new people. I like visiting different places and mostly my reasons for traveling is conferences.
PHILOSOPHY
"Knowing that you are slowly destroying every idea about who you are is an extremely efficient way to realise that you are always changing."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am very new and want to get involved. I have friends who have used this for years and they made amazing friends! Until now, I have traveled to quite a few places, but always had friends around. Now, it is time to make new friends through here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Here on a recommendation of a friend. No experience yet. I'd like to have now!
Interests
COFFEE, music, food especially chilly ones, cultures, music, festivals,.
I like talking to people and getting to know about themselves. Everyone's narrative gives so much information about their selves, environment, and cultures. I like to gain deeper insights on these, because every person is unique and can give everyone something different.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love romantic comedies, including every movie of Meg Ryan.
MUSIC! Everything. I used to sing in a large band in Turkey that played the music of different cultures in 15 different languages living in Turkey. But global fav ones are Lady GAGA, Damien Rice, Tori Amos, the Beatles, and Jeff Buckley. Chopin's Nocturnes and Satie's Gnossiennes! I love listening to them from my vinyl player!
I am a totally modernist reader: VIRGINIA WOOLF! From contemporary, Big fan of Paul Auster; thus looking forward to visiting Brooklyn. Milan Kundera, and Ishiguro.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I climbed Table Mountain in Cape Town, it was amazing to see how beautiful the whole city was. Another one was to swim in the ocean in Brighton in the middle of the night when it was TOO cold! And lastly finding a ticket at the last minute and seeing LADY GAGA in my single night in Los Angeles!
