About Me
Hey! I'm Yasir and I'm studying and living here in Boston.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to share in the unique experience a platform like this provides. I've come to realize this is the best way to travel, whether you actually leave your home or travel by staying right at home and inviting people of all kinds of different cultures, languages and food to learn from and grow.
Interests
I love to read, write and catch up with my favorite T.V. shows. I also love playing baseball. My interests are politics, history, religion, philosophy and science. If you talk we'll get along.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to pretty much everything. But country and R&B pull some strings. I also like pop music and rock and roll.
Books: I read all kinds of stuff, but I enjoy non-fiction.
I'm currently reading My Name Is Red by Orhan Pamuk which I definitely recommend.
Movies: Pulp Fiction, Blue Valentine, The Big Lebowski, 12 Angry Men, The Body of Lies, Inglorious Bastards, Fight Club, Argo, and the Bourne series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last April I traveled down the east coast of the U.S., from Toronto all the way down through to Miami. I got to visit all of the most beautiful cities along the coast, Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Boston, New York City, Washington D.C., Virginia Beach, Richmond then down to Charlotte, Charleston, Savannah, and finally Miami. I experienced rich history, culture, amazing food and lively and interesting people on my journey. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible!
