ABOUT ME

I work as a meteorologist for the national weather service in the heart of Austria, in Salzburg. I like my work and it is full of interesting tasks (weather forecasting, satellite meteorology, science...) and challenges :)
Apart from that I love to travel, I like sports (at the moment I am very active with Ultimate Frisbee, but also slacklining, rock climbing, skiing, running, paddling, etc.) and I like culture and arts!

PHILOSOPHY

The world seems to get smaller and smaller but the more you see, the bigger you get.

Let us explore this planet of wonder and lets enjoy to have lots of facilities for that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made great experiences both with couchsurfers and really cool hosts! I was in Styria (Austria) at a wonderful place, on Åland island (Finland) at a absolutely fantastic spot, in Ireland, in Italy - I will never forget this journey - in Albania, Norway, Sweden and Vancouver and I found out that these were the coolest trips and adventures I have made in my whole life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I went to Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert (Nevada), that was truly amazing!!
I went hitch hiking through all Scandinavia for 4 weeks in 2013 and through the Balkans for another 4 weeks in 2014.
I went highlining a few times (balancing on a slackline high above the ground) and on some waterlines (slackline over a river/lake).
I have camped in the snow on a mountain peak on New Years Eve, and once in a self-made igloo!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to unicycle, juggle and walk or make tricks on the slackline!! I can also teach you the basics of how to throw a frisbee disc :)
At my home in Salzburg I can lend you a bicycle (no matter if you stay at my place or not).

What I Can Share with Hosts

With my hosts and my guests I want to share new experiences, share lot of fun!
I want to share my stories and I want to listen to others! I can share my experiences of being a meteorologist ;)
