Hello!

I have recently graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a degree in American Sign Language Interpretation and work as a Freelance Sign Language Interpreter in the Chicagoland area!

I feel like the moment I graduated from college I was bit by the Travel bug! I traveled to my first country January of 2015 and I never looked back! August of 2015 I backpacked through Europe with two friends for a month and since then I have been travelling around the United States to as many states as possible!

What I love about traveling is being able to visit a place that I've heard about and seeing it for myself. Seeing a city, eating the local food, seeing people go about their day and trying to experience what they do and understanding their way of life ... THAT is what get's me hooked. I hope I never stop my love of travel and am able to see all that this big world has to offer.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I have heard such amazing thing about Couchsurfing and the people who are involved with this community.

I feel that as a new traveler what better way to get to know a city than by seeing it through the eyes of the people who live there?

I am hoping to meet new people, experience new things, and see and experience all that I can in each city!

Interesses

I feel that I have an eclectic range of interests but I love reading a really good book or watching a movie, but I LOVE to dance and karaoke - doesn't necessarily make me a good one but who cares right? :)

Trying different foods and drinks are things that I LOVE to do! Being from Chicago, we have many cuisines and cultures but it's nice to experience it in person!

I am also interested in the History of a city - my favorite thing is to look at architecture and seeing all the beautiful buildings!
