About Me

CURRENT MISSION

always looking for the local favorite food spots and intimate spaces for live music

ABOUT ME

When I joined CS way back in 2010, I was living in Buenos Aires working on my art. Now I live in LA where I have my art studio. I don't travel as much, but I love it when I can get away and meet open-hearted locals. Grateful for the CS community.

PHILOSOPHY

Listen. Learn. Grow. Try something new. Make mistakes. Repeat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted surfers several times and have always had a great experience. Have also met with other CSers while travelling. CS has been a great way to meet new people for one-on-one language exchanges or group activities. The Buenos Aires group has been very helpful in getting to know the city and organizing events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience with CS has almost always been positive. I'm grateful that it CS exists and that there are so many like-minded people in the world willing to be a part of this exchange of experience/culture/ideas. It makes the world a smaller, more inviting place and makes me want to travel more.

Interests

Art, music (sharing, love going to live shows), movies, books, discovering new cultures ...especially through food, dancing, biking, discussion (friendly debate), just hanging out and enjoying the company of friends, wandering and getting lost in a new town/neighborhood, etc. I'm also an amateir drummer

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This really isn't so amazing, but it was a bit scary and exhilarating at the time... after working a very stable job at a university for 7 years, I quit my job in LA and moved to Buenos Aires without a job or knowing anyone. I ended up staying a year and having an incredible time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always enjoy sharing and learning from others' personal experiences... I think that might be one of the greatest benefits of CS.

Also, I'm happy to teach some basic dance: salsa, swing, and jive. Basic drawing lessons and beginner yoga positions :) I'll have my sketchbook with me to draw my hosts' portrait while travelling :)
