For over 10 years, Kilimanjaro Orphanage Centre has been dedicated to the protection of Tanzania’s most vulnerable population, was founded by Tanzanian Lazaro Edward, and over the course of the past decade has rescued more than 250 vulnerable children through outreach program, children in Kilimanjaro region and nearby societies, where they face numerous dangers including malnutrition and abuse.Kilimanjaro Orphanage Centre provides healthy food, education, counseling and medical care for every vulnerable child who turns to us for help. When possible, children are reunified with (extended) families.
