Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is the absolute best way to immerse yourself with the country's culture. You meet and live in the everyday life of the locals and this is how I, as a traveller, find the true feeling of the country - through its people and their everyday lives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed 3 times so far. Once in Montreal for a week. We stayed in an empty room with a questionable mattress and the ceiling about to fall off. But our host, Eddy, made it all worth it. It was one of the best weeks in my life.
Another time in Quebec City with a great guy Eric. Again a wonderful time. We stayed in a tent in his backyard as he was already hosting someone in the house and could not say no to us.
My last and probably the most amazing experience that really taught me that couchsurfing is the best way to travel and see a new country was in Athens, Greece with Pericles. There I did not just explore a new country through the eyes of a local, but a found a great new friend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying in South East Asia for 8 month.
Motorbiking through half of Viet Nam.
Walking around the crater of an active volcano.
Travelling to 20 countries in 3 years.
I just realized that's not one thing... but they are all amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some photography skills. Some basic martial arts (Karate, Aikido, Krav Maga). Also if you want to learn English or Russian I can definitely help with that.
I am currently running a small business, so if you need advice on any of your business endeavours, I would be happy to help.
I want to learn anything that you can teach me.
