Overview
About Me
I'm a Bulgarian who has lived, studied and worked in Korea and the UK.
I'm currently in London and I'm trying to get my poetry published or presented in one way or another (yes, it is in English) and I act in theatrical productions whenever I get the chance.
I believe in kindness and think that the more we manage to recognize and appreciate each other the better everything in the world would be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love experiencing life outside of my comfort zone and this also includes meeting new and different people, not just snatching a friend and booking a hotel when I travel. My Couchsurfing experiences have proven fun and exciting as I've met some wonderful people in Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Taiwan and Korea and I've learned a great deal on the way.
Interests
I love languages, different cultures, Asia, wonders of the world, nature, bungee jumping, MUSIC, films, and theater of course!
Actually, quite a film/movie buff, should not hide that.
I am fluent in Bulgarian and English; and somewhat fluent in Korean (I've left the Korean bit in just to appear extra special, awesome and deeply extraordinary :D )
I don't know anyone who walks more than me. I believe that the best way to discover the beauty (or lack thereof) of a new place is through the glorious means of my feet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two of the most fascinating places I've been to are the Great Wall of China and the Angkor temples in Cambodia.
However, one of the most rewarding and exciting things I've experienced was in Laos, on my way to Kuang Si Falls. I had not been on a bicycle for more than 10 years but decided to do the 60 + kilometers from Luang Prabang to the waterfall (and back) on a bike. I pretended singing Elvish songs while floating around with the bike. Eventually climbing on top of the waterfall, after the exhausting bike ride, was a one of a kind experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would simply love to learn more about the countries I visit. I know plenty of information about Bulgarian and Korean culture and I'm always free to share what I know :) just ask, anytime...
I have completed an Acting course with Distinction so for those interested I can talk about and even teach things related to breathing technique, movement, improvisation, etc.
In my final two years in Korea I worked as an English teacher so I can help with English as well (oh... Bulgarian too :) and some Korean.
