Holy moly, I always find it difficult to put something in these funny windows. A fun loving, if a bit shy person that loves music. Actively, that is, not just by listening. Other interests? Sailing, climbing, hiking, playing computer games, philosophical disputes, motorbiking... I also brew my own beer – you're welcome to try it out! :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a flat that allows me to accomodate people and have had some nice experiences to date. I'm going to couchsurf sooner or later too, so I will be needing all the good karma I'm gathering right now accomodating people. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not very fond of movies, to be honest. There are some that I liked, though. I like Woody Allen's movies, action-adventure genre, but also some more ambitious titles (A Clockwork Orange, anyone? ;)).
I love books, I have too many favourites to list here. Currently I'm devouring Tom Clancy's books, my recent discovery. I also love Haruki Murkami's books (and Japanese literature in general), Stephen King, Ken Kesey, Stieg Larsson, Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert (Dune is one of the greatest books I've ever read)... and many, many more.
I listen mainly to rock music, but I also love musical jazz (and jazz in general! swing!), funk, some hip-hop artists are neat too. There's no genre I dislike, to be honest. I'm very open minded when it comes to music.
I'm also an avid gamer, I even work as a computer games' translator.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have no extraordinary feat to brag about, I think. Things that I remember the most and that I miss the most are my sailing travels. I'm hopelessly in love with sailing the seas. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basics of playing guitar and singing techniques, I also have some experience as a sailing instructor. There's a lake close to Warsaw, so if you want to try out sailing – I can show you a thing or two :). I can also teach you how to brew beer.
