About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be open-minded, eager to learn from others, be a good citizen but never lose criticism over politicians, authorities, but at the same time respect good traditions.

ABOUT ME

love to meet people and learn the insight of the lives. aka a natural born learner and teacher!

PHILOSOPHY

do your best now. don't intimidated easily. never lose your control of your life. be strong, so you can endure hardship of life. be beautiful, so you can catch and understand this planet's beauty. and behave yourself, cos you are allowed to live only for a short while on this fragile world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My cousin told me CS recently. In Japan, not so much people knows this revolutionary human peaceful tourism network. It is a bit shameful I have to admit avarage Japanese' English skill is not so good. That is why CS is not known well in Japan. I think I can be a PR girl for my Japanese friends who would be interested in this revolution.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have just joined CS. so, no, never. but I am trying to now for traveling Israel this spring.

Interests

reading, chatting, working, shopping, walking around...as a social studies teacher, I am interested in economics, politics, ethics...I majored sociology in uni.

Music, Movies, and Books

hmmm. Mozart. Brahms. Beethoven. Bach. Like classics but also love QUEEN(Freddie! We still miss you!), Bette Middler, anyone who enjoy their lives seriously.
books....now I am reading "The origin of Politics" by Francis Fukushima. I admire Adam Smith, John Locke, Emmanuel Lévinas.
Movies. recently I watched "Blood Diamond"(again), "Hotel Rwanda" is one of my best. Oh! don't forget Roman Holiday...Ms.Hepburn is my idle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The long sea shore after tsunami.
one of my friends house was washed away completely.
my raised town(lived there until 10 years old) was polluted by nucleus.
but strong people, especially the wise, the old, stood up again and give me and my students hugs and big smiles. What an amazing scene of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can be a guide if you come to Tokyo or want to visit Tohoku district.
I visited north east Tohoku (twice) after that tsunami, and have volunteered since then. i have a lot of acquaintances(like politicians, teachers, entrepreneurs, fishermen, people who lost their family still live in temporary dwellings in that area etc.)
You can learn a lot of things over their, and it would be very interesting (sometimes fun) experience that you cannot forget till you die.
