About Me

World traveler - pizza enthusiast -Cannabis Connoisseur

Instagram.com/420_traveler

We bought a travel trailer about 2 years ago.
So the cat, wife, and myself have been travelling around the north america as much as possible while we can. We were on the road summer 2019 into 2020. We were in Chicago most of 2020 while my wife finished her degree.
After she finished her degree we left chicago and were on the road for a while, going back and forth across the US and Canada. and down the baja peninsula. Summary of the 2 north american road trips below!
Would love to meet some locals, and hang out with other travelers.
Very recently we kind of took a break from the road tripping and are living in the rogue valley, in southern oregon.

I caught the travelling bug in my late teens and went on a trip to Amsterdam, and Englands southern coast, and have gone on multiple international trips almost every year since.
I have loved pretty much everywhere I have gone and been to some of my favorite cities quite a few times. I would return to all of them again.

As a couple we have gone on a lot of trips as well.
We met up in Mexico (as we lived apart when we started dating.. this time). Then we had a few epic europe trips.. one of which We got engaged in Prague., then married in Jamaica, and honeymooned in Cuba shortly after. A couple years, and a few dozen smaller trips later we bought that travel trailer i mentioned and hit the road.

Winter '19/'20:
We basically left florida mid sept/2019. Headed up the east coast hitting the smokeys, A.C., new england all the way to nova scotia. Then we headed west, kind of hopping back and forth along the US/CAN border untill we got to vancouver. Then all down the west coast untill tijuana. and then across arizona, nevada utah, and colorado. Almost following rt 66. Finished that trip early jan/2020 in Chicago.

Road trip Winter/spring '20-'21:
we drove from chicago to oregon for an event. Then drove a very scenic route to tenessee a d then florida for the holidays..
picked up our trailer after having some warranty work done around christmas time in indiana. From there Headed to the southwest. Spending a few weeks in Arizona and surrounding states with some friends.
and then taking a few weeks down the baja peninsula and back. After which, around mid march, we will (very slowly) be making out way towards oregon.
(Baja dragged out till late march and we ended up in Oregon by late april)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed through this site once, but i have also met a few people and attended a few events through couchsurfing. I have also hosted and surfed through other sites and services. Usually rent a room off someone for the duration of a trip. My experiences with it have always been positive, when i was in europe last i met, and stayed with some random people. and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. I look forward to both surfing and hosting with people off this site as well.
