My name is Yecenia, but I go by Spirit. I've been on my own since I was 17, I've had a rough life so far but who hasn't it's all about the way you perceive from those situations and to push on and enjoy the moments in life and gain knowledge from it. I love children so much, I tend to I'm 21 years old and have graduated from high school I yet to attend college but do plan to in future references. But first I want to experience the different cultures, gain knowledge of different subjects. Find the right connections to carry with me in life to move forward to the direction I need to be in. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very spiritual and have had many epiphanies and have been enlightened through experiences. I've always been the type of person to want to explore and learn how people live and hear the lives they have been through to have made them the person they are now. I am very open minded and love to create new connections to learn from their lives and carry that knowledge in my own journey.

Interests

I love listening to music and walking in nature. I enjoy very deep conversations and also love to sing and play with children. I enjoy drawing and painting as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is Circa Survive, I also love to listen to Soja and Nahko for the positiveness they send out. My favorite movie is Into The Wild, because Christopher Mccandless had a strong view on the world we are in, and seeked out for more that his soul craved for. He went with what made him happy, and just that mentality was beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done in my journey is help friends out and genuinely loving it, I've touched many souls with my kind heart which makes me love life more. I've helped people in suburban hospital. And I've also helped at an elderly home playing checkers with them!
I've sang the national anthem in a wizards game when I was younger.
I've gone to North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia and South Carolina.
